B is for Books

There are book worms and there are BOOK WORMS. I'm not a bookworm, I'm a BOOK WORM. (Why is everything about worms lately????) I love books so much, that I decided to write a little rhyming poem about them. I hope you like it.

"B is for Books" by Little Girl on The Go
B is for Books that will make your imagination fly.
Be a princess, or a dragon and soar high into the sky.
Climb up Rapunzel's hair
Or run and play with Baby Bear,
Feast with naughty Goldilocks
Or shriek at Red Riding Hood's wolfy shocks.
Save Snow White from the wicked Queen,
Trade a cow for a magic bean.
Help Aladdin find the lamp,
Look for gold at a miner's camp.
Take care of a book and share a book
(But please be careful of Captain Hook!)
If you want to go here or you want to go there,
Books can take you everywhere!

I promise to be back soon with Valentine's Day ideas! Have a great weekend.

A Book Worm is my favorite kind of an insect. We welcome them, if they come our way we will share our hearty meal with them. Tasty pictures, delicious words, and nourishing thoughts come our way whenever we treat ourselves to a book with a worm. Gobble them up. Love Grandma Babs

Book Worms seem to run in our family Sailor. I loved your poem and think you should enter it into a magazine or something. You have been a book worm since you were a baby and I'm proud to see you developing your wonderful talents. We just adore you and can't wiat to see you! Love the briscos
